Celebrating Mothers!
It’s Mothers Day…..What does that mean to you? I know some of you might say it’s just another opportunity for hallmark to make some money….granted this is true, but who cares!
Mothers are people that I spend a lot of time with, especially at The LifePod, and I love them! Mothers deserve to be celebrated for their passion, love, commitment, hard work, the fire in their bellies, the late nights, the hustle to get the job done, whatever the job is….the mile long ‘to do’ list, the house work, the job work, the kids work!
Mothers are strong, exuberant, determined, focused, loving,
magical, devoted, kick ass incredible people!!!! Even mothers who may not have, in your eyes, done the ‘best’ job, somewhere along the line, they too were doing the best they could with what they had.
Thank you to all the mothers out there for your goddess nature, for holding us in your love, for creating a nourishing space for us to even come in to existence.
Do something for yourself today, spend just a little time absorbed in your own presence, your own divinity, your own power and greatness. A short walk in nature, a few deep breaths in the shower, a cuddle with your love.
I love you, I love that I am honoured to spend time with you all so often and I am so happy to spend a day celebrating myself as a mother, my mother, my sister who’s a mother, lot’s of friends and beloved students.
