LifePod Living daily Practices…

What can we do each day to connect with our natural state of bliss and joy?

This has been something that I have been giving a lot of attention lately as my own life gets, at times, out of control with ‘to do’ lists, plans and work.

I remind myself…each day is another opportunity to live fully, feel passionately and enjoy this precious life.

I have been reading a great book, The Chemistry of Calm, written by Henry Emmons, in it Henry describes a three breath meditation that is so simple and can be done anytime anywhere, it really is as simple as three breaths.

So…you stop what you’re doing. Breathe in slowly through your nose to a count of 4 or 5, hold your breath in for the same count and then release the breath from your mouth slowly for up to 6 – 8 counts. That’s it! Do this in the morning first thing, before you sit to do your meditation, while you’re driving and stuck in traffic, before you think you might yell at someone, or just walking down the street. Teach it to your kids, give them a lifelong tool to help them also slide into the natural state that we all are…bliss, love and relaxation.
