Raw Food – another way to health!

I have added so much more raw food to my diet in the past 6 months and I feel a million times better for it!

As David Wolfe says, there is an energy to raw food that is so incredibly nutritious and life giving. If you haven’t heard of David Wolfe, he’s one of the most passionate raw foodies and human beings I have ever come across. He’s website is http://www.davidwolfe.com/ 

There was a section on one of the morning television shows today on Raw food, David Wolfe was asked as a guest to speak. When I watched this later I was a little shocked to see the hosts so challenged by ideas that didn’t obviously fit into their way of thinking. I understand that they are presenting popular beliefs but surely we want to promote flexibility of thought and ideas.

Eating raw food isn’t all or nothing. For me, it has been about adding more raw into my diet, drinking more juices, smoothies and adding amazing energetic medicine like sprouts, super foods, nuts, seeds and herbs.

If we’re willing to open our minds and yield to other ideas then the world becomes a magical place full of opportunity and joy. If we stay in our limited ways of thinking, assuming other people’s ideas are wrong and making judgments based purely on perceptions alone, we become rigid, arrogant and stressed out.

Raw food is just one way, like anything, we can be open to finding out more with child like curiosity, opening our hearts and cultivating health through the act of surrender and love.
